User Group Insurance PDF Print E-mail
Capilano Community League implemented mandatory third party liability insurance earlier this year.  The policy is meant to protect the renter, and the community league from claims during functions.
Organizations, including sports clubs, and companies typically have insurance and should be able to provide proof of insurance, as should catering companies.  Individual renters may be able to provide insurance confirmation through their homeowner's policy. 
When these options are not available, coverage must be secured. 

The Edmonton Community League Short term rental program is an easy option to gain this important coverage.   The rates are very economical and have been recently reduced.  For more information contact Foster Park Baskett Insurance or visit www.efcl.org for an application.
Third Party Liability Insurance PDF Print E-mail
Effective March 11, all Capilano hall bookings require mandatory 3rd party liability insurance.  Confirmed bookings prior to this date do not require the coverage, though it is highly recommended.
You may have this coverage as part of your home owners package or you may purchase it on an event basis.  Evidence of insurance will be required before you will be given the keys.

New Hall Rental Rates PDF Print E-mail
Due to increasing costs, Capilano is raising the rental rates for our hall, effective Oct 1, 2008.  Bookings made at the old rates will be honored.

Single weekend daily rates for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are $225/members
and $300/ non-members.  The entire weekend rates are $325/members and $450/
non-members.

Hourly and weekday rates are unaffected.
