Rodger Davidson, Jeff Riddle, Sara Bowen, Patti Meroupolis, Bill Burtnik, Gigi Needham The purpose of the meeting was to get input from
clubhouse users and the public. The clubhouse is used primarily for hockey in
the winter and tennis in the summer. Access to a washroom and water fountain is
required in the summer for soccer, lacrosse and the Green Shack (playground) participants.
Also if some of the small group activities now held in the Community League Hall
were held in the clubhouse, it would free-up more opportunities for the
revenue-generating CCL Hall rentals.
The clubhouse was erected in 1978 and primarily intended as a hockey shack.
Over the years tennis and other groups have made more and more extensive use of
the building. There is a new roof and a new furnace. Renovations are required to
make the building more versatile to accommodate the needs of all users. |
