Community Liaison Volunteer

Capilano Community League has a volunteer position open.  The description of the role is below.  If you are interested or if you have any questions about the position, please contact Bill (469.5744)

·        Act as liaison between Capilano Community League and Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant to communicate concerns, ideas, and questions regarding how the plant is affecting/impacting our community.

·        Attend "Community Liaison Committee" meetings at the Gold Bar Wastewater Treatment Plant usually held every month to three months.

o       meetings are called by a representative for the Wastewater Treatment Plant and generally last from 1 to 2 hours.

o       meetings begin at 6:00pm and a supper is optional starting at 5:30pm. 

o       they have been held on Wednesdays, but day is based on availability of all community league liaison members.

·        Report highlights from the meeting (meeting minutes) to the the Capilano Community League for inclusion on the community web site.
